SPECTATOR PARKING

CITROEN WEEKEND is organised by Classic 2CV Racing Club Ltd in partnership with Citroen UK, 2CVGB, Citroen Car Club, MSV and others.

Everyone is welcome, with marked areas for Club members of some clubs. All kinds, types and ages of Citroen cars and vans are invited.

And if you arrive in any other make, you will be equally welcome. Anyone planning to arrive in any kind of French car or van will qualify for discount price weekend passes.

It is fine to arrive:

  • In a car

  • In a car and towing another car on a trailer

  • In a car and towing a caravan

  • In a van, camper or motorhome

  • On a motorbike

  • By bike

  • Etc.

There will be signs guiding 2CVGB and CCC members to their designated areas. Otherwise, anyone is free to park/camp wherever they wish. It will be a bit noisy during the night so don’t pitch a tent too close to the track.

The main parking area is the very large flatish and grassy area inside the circuit between Bomb Hole and Coram bends. It has plentiful water points and waste bins and the toilets and wi-fi are a short walk away. The showers are a bit further away, in the paddock.

There are no hook-ups.

We hope CITROEN owners will bring their classic and current cars and enjoy the weekend of socialising that is the fun part of being at a 24 Hour race weekend.

Show What You Bring

The in-field weekend will blend an extensive parking area with a central display of CITROEN cars and vans, classic and contemporary. The display will be open from 10:00 to 16:00 on both Saturday and Sunday.

If you would like to put your car on display on either day please look out for the display marshal.

Viewing the CITROEN Classic 2CV 24 Hour Race

The CITROEN Classic 2CV 24 Hour should start at 17:00 on Saturday, run twice round the clock and finish at 17:00 on Sunday.

A good place to view the race is as the cars exit under the bridge, through Brundle, Nelson and Bomb Hole bends.

Another is as they come round Coram into Murray’s bend and up the Senna Straight past the pit wall.

The Race Paddock

The race pit garages can be viewed from the fire lane behind them. You should be able to look in and see the race crews in action. Or if their car is going well – eating, talking or sleeping!

There is a lot going on in that area, so please take care and watch out for trip hazards.
